MALAYA (HQ)

MALAYA is the Filipino word for FREE.
This is my first animated short film. I started on this few months after I learned animation and worked on this for three weeks. I wasn't able to finish the entire story and had to cut down on my frames just to make the deadline for Animahenasyon 2007. I was just able to finish the first part where the eagle was able to get out from the cage. I have no plans of finishing this anymore because this is part of my flaws and development as an animator and film maker. This film was actually part of the pre-production stages of PASINTABI. I was still developing the process to be used for PASINTABI at that time and was still learning the principles of animation also.

Thanks Jeff for sharing! I really liked this short film when I first saw it. Can't believe it's Flash Animated kasi mukha na siyang traditional. :-)

@toppeg Thanks hehe. Unfortunately I was only able to finish the first part of the story. The story is supposed to end with the egg hatching. =0
