Walter Marino Rizzi, from Bolzano, (Italy) had a similar encounter (july 1968), on the top of the Dolomites mountains. He was going to Campitello di Fassa with his car around midhight he had to stop 'cause an unseasonable fog and decided to spend the night there.. suddenly started to appear a strange light.. it's a (very) long story. :-)
