I think it's important not to run away with ourselves on this one. Politics are so very permeating in society, so many lives depend on the political society running smoothly, that it is pretty scary to imagine such weighty matters depending on snap decisions. Informed choises aren't made that fast! That being said, informed decisions are made by informed people! Information should be free, but we can't let that ideology drive us to stupid extremes; some information does not need to be public.
