~~~READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE WATCHING!!!~~~
My main reason for putting this video up was for the second song. However, I don't have a video editor so I couldn't separate the two. Plus, you may as well watch them both since they're both pretty good!
1st song: "A City Called Heaven" - a powerful spiritual piece! I don't remember who the composer/arranger is, but all rights goes to that person and their publishing company! :D
2nd song: "Happy Ending" by Mika. I absolutely LOVE this song and wanted my school's choir to sing it...so I turned it into an arrangement for choir! Yes, that's me who bows! (I'm small, I know XD)
If you want to just watch that song, then skip ahead to 4 min 10 secs.
I apologize as this isn't the best quality, this was taken with a digital camera initially meant for taking pictures. I also realize "Happy Ending" was sung faster than it should have been, but oh well, it's a high school performance. Enjoy it anyway! Please rate and comment! ^-^
(note: no money was made from the production of this concert, nor from my arrangement.)
  • This is the Josephine Poelinitz arrangement of City Called Heaven - we're singing it in Kettering University's choir this term.
    While I'm not familiar with Happy Ending I've heard far worse arrangements of pop songs by so-called 'professionals'.
    Would this happen to be the Fenton High School in Michigan?
  • @chan7781a No, this one's in Illinois. :)
  • OMG!OMG!OMG!
    HAPPY ENDING!
    This is gonna sound weird, but is there some way i could get a copy of your arrangement. I've been trying to look for a choir version for a while and this is exactly what i need.
  • @thetrulyricist I'm so glad you liked it!
    Unfortunately, while I made this arrangement specifically for my school's choir, I don't have any legal rights to it as I never got legal permission to make one. (I'm actually trying to get a hold of MIKA to ask if I can publish it...no luck so far.)
    Anyway, as it is an unofficial, unpublished arrangement as of yet, that I only made for a specific event, I can't give it to anyone else for use. Sorry!
  • I was the one standing basically right in front of you hahaa. You did an AMAZING job on this. Honestly, it was my favorite song in the entire concert.
  • Cassidy, right? Thank you so much!! It was my favorite too, of course ^.^
