I lived in Olinda Village Verbena Lane, from 1970-1985 and I remember how bad the brush fires could get. At least twice, our home came close to burning down and we had to evacuate.

I live on Imperial highway and Valencia. I drive through Carbon Canyon everyday and I am so extremely sad to see what is left of the Canyon! I really really am depressed. I pray that those that lost their homes in the fire are blessed. I want to say THANK YOU to the Fire Fighters and Police for doing their best out there.
