hate to tell all you tiger fans out there but its a known fact that lions always win in a fight with tigers .As a matter of fact zoo keeper have to keep the lions away from the tiger to stop the lions from killing them . After looking at all the videos tiger fans put up of tiger winning its always a female lion vs a male tiger but with male vs male lion win tiger are fast but lions hit harder and are designed to fight . when you see lions on the ground that just the style the lion chooses

Romans fought tigers and lions all the time. Sometimes the tiger won. Sometimes the lion won. It just all depends on the cat. Agility and strength (slight edge because tigers are bigger by 75-100 pounds) go to the tiger, toughness and scrap goes to the lion (lions have better fighting instincts because of pride role)...

@aalexy0 The lion was actually chasing the tiger around the cage once,but there was nowhere to run.The tiger was forced to fight back.The lion had the tiger by the neck one time and the shoulder another time.These could have been the wounds the tiger died from two days later.They were both scratched up pretty good.That lion of mine? the mane is part of the lion.I wonder what a lioness against a tigress would do.

Looked even to me.They both had the advantage at times,but one could never finish off the other.The tiger looked like he had the lion by the throught a couple of times,but the lion ,being protected by his mane,always got free.After they sprayed them with the water and they finally stopped fighting,the lion went back to his cage and I assumed the tiger did too,but I have heard a couple of times the tiger actually died a couple of days later from wounds.This was done deliberately for a movie.
