The Indianapolis police chief warned RFK not to go into the city. He did anyway and delivered this eloquent eulogy and case for peace and justice. He quoted the Aeschylus poem from memory, which he'd probably read a few times since his brother had been killed. Indianapolis was one of the few major U.S. cities that had no rioting that night.
