A few favorite photos I've taken over the years of a giant of a man whose grace and talent was taken from us too soon: Tom "T-Bone" Wolk.

  • Was he in poor health? His death was very sudden.

  • @peribenset He was on medication for his heart, but he was thought to be doing fine. It was very sudden and shocking to everyone. I miss him so much! What a wonderful guy. :(

  • @NoCanDu I have had some heart surgeries in the past couple of years. In fact, I was still recovering when I learned of his passing. IT hit me especially hard because I have been a fan for decades and have cardiac issues. What a shame. He was so young and had so much more life to live.

  • @peribenset I'm sorry to hear that. He was such an amazingly talented musician and and super-nice person, as well. He took me under his wing when I worked for them. He always looked out for me and kept in touch. He died two weeks after my father died. I was so overwhelmed... :(

BTW: Here is the new version with that last song he recorded - it won't let me post the link, so just look in my videos or search "T-Bone Wolk Remembered (Redux)."

  • @peribenset Actually, he was working on Daryl Hall's latest solo album. He had just finished up a day of recording and had a massive heart attack 3 hours later. The song is called "Problem With You" and is available now. It is a very bluesy, very T-Bone-sounding song. Wonderful guitar by him. I may re-do this photobook to that song instead.

  • what play song ??

  • @reveberator The song is "Rock Steady" done by Hall & Oates. T-Bone plays such great bass on it! :)

  • miss you alwats t-bone..

  • Thanks for this. Only learned of T-Bone since Live From Daryls House. Seemed like a great dude. And from those Vids on LFDH you could tell he and Daryl were on the same page musically. There is a great tribute episode on LFDH to T-Bone....his family and Philly. ....pretty cool

  • Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Love it...We lost a great musician and man...
