The Mars Volta - Meccamputechture

Live in Kansas City, MO at the Beaumont Club. Pretty damn small venue, made it difficult to have the audio quality not suck. This was the second to last song, they closed with Day of the Baphomets.

I took this video about 3 people back from the front of the stage... people in the crowd were being complete jerks, throwing elbows and whatnot...

If you want "on-tune" music stay at home and listen to the cd´s, for people who want a great show, and not only cold "well played notes" an out of tune but well preformed concert is a lot better.

I was there, probably not too far from where you were. And I totally agree that people were being assholes. I kept seeing the same high school meatheads pushing each other around for the hell of it. The band doesn't even like for the crowd to mosh. It was a rough show, but I can handle it, but others go to their shows for the music not to get pushed around.

Its a Fuckin Bar; people smoke. There was plenty of room on the edges. I stood off to the side and got my groove on all night. It was a badass show quit your bitchen!

they'd be our friends if everyone could stop smoking for the next 2 hours, and that our lungs would love us for it, and that's how we'll get our monies worth. The place was filled with a crazy amount of smoke from everyone lightings up so it made my day when he said that.

I was in about the 2nd row, then a bunch of "hardcore" kids were being dicks and shoving and shit. I had my girlfriend with me so we got out. It's a shame, I guess those kids didn't know what TMV is all about. The smoking comment cedric made was awesome.
