This is the first vid in what I hope is to become a series of updates until the completed product. I started on two knives, the ones that were briefly pictured last year about this time. So this year, I want to try a couple new things, and a couple different designs.

The first two steps have been completed. Cut out and annealing so you can work on them. All three were cut from chainsaw bars. I will be hand filing these knives to shape the tang and blade. These have been annealed to "soften" the metal. Now the filing begins.

I also did all of the wood work for the handles, and made the sheaths for them. I will be seeking a higher quality leather, as those were the first sheaths I had ever made for a knife.

  • I'm sure gonna give it a shot anyways. Hoping they will also. I need to buy a couple tools before I get started here.
