Elliott Smith has written some of the most beautiful. poignant, and sad songs that I've ever heard in my life. His songs are certainly the equal of any written in the last 30 years in my opinion and they are honest--really the autobiography of a sensitive and brilliant musician. I only wish I had gotten the chance to hear him play "live" but by the time I turned on to his music, he was gone. Thanks Elliott for giving us this music. I never get tired of listening. Paul

The Amazing thing about Smith is that his music is withstanding the test of time...He gains more fans everyday. His music is so original.

I'm 20 now, and discovered Elliott some years back.. I remember hearing one of his songs when I was younger maybe 15..but didn't like it.. What the fuck was I thinking??? I had up my ass listening to retard screamo and shit. In my opinion, Elliott is and will always be the greatest songwriter. And it's sucha shame I'll never meet him and ask him a few things I got on my mind. I miss him EVERYDAY. Love you Elliott.
