@Soffex Only the stock M3 rev limiter is bad. It bounces too hard, but if you get an aftermarket rev-limiter that bounces faster, it isn't bad for the motor.

@EBTerriers Dude, he wasn't trying to smash a 60ft record, he friggin' dumped the clutch and let it spin. WTF?

That's also like 0-100+ from where he was starting, to the breaking point. The car was FAST. Not sure if he still has it. Someone all mentioned it being an auto. It's not an auto lolol. It's an M ZF trans and he's a great driver. Hence the quick shifts.

@EBTerriers It made use of damn near all the power once he caught second gear. You also do not know these people. IIRC this had a different lsd ratio, so he wouldn't be spinning in third gear. It may look slow to you, but that's pretty freaking fast for 450whp. The car squatted very hard when he grabbed second gear and by the time he nailed third...look how quickly he is gaining speed and how hard he had to get on the brakes as he merged. These cars aren't rockets off the line regardless.

@sjpgoalie but it couldn't make use of that poer because there's not enough grip for that much power...hence why it looked slow .

@EBTerriers The car was damn near 550 crank hp in a car that barely weighed 3000lbs, and possibly under. He more than doubled the crank horsepower of an M3 and the car was rocket.
@mikestylz96 It didn't sound like a fart can or four banger. It sounded like an inline six that was sucking all of the oxygen out of the surrounding atmosphere.
