@TheRidersChoice what you don't understand, because it is very simple... it is not only resting and eating. Did you ever worked out like this ? I did it many years but i never have looked like Arnold maybe like Frank Zane but i don't see people working out like this around i work out but sure if you take the good stuff you grow if not be happy what you get so it's the way it is.

@MesserschmittMe109F im not sure what you meant by your comment but if your saying people today are to concerned with nutrition than you dont know what bodybuilding is about, you never get stronger from lifting only resting and eating, if you dont put as much effort into what you do outside the gym than you might as well not even go to workout

@ilovepantera97 i cant say if they ALL took roids or not but the difference between back then and now is that they actually put in the hard work and the strict diet it took. these days especially young kids want everything fast aka supplements(most of which dont work) and they are always using bro science or following the "best" workout routine. they were dedicated and knew the time it took back then. thats just my .02

@Butchered10961786 Arnie is actually really smart IMO. Milton Friedman got him to an introduction in his TV series on market economics. They were good friends till he died. You'd have to be able to hold yourself well if Milton Friedman had time for you.
