Loud Chevy 350 Straight Glasspack Exhaust

1991 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado reg cab short box 4x4, 350 5.7L TBI, posi rear end, 20k on built trans 70k on motor. 3in glasspack at the downpipe and 10 feet of 2 inch O.D. straight back after that. no cats. This vid was from the day after install. Not even broken in.

Aint you glad you took that stupid cat off? I got a 93 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 350 and my cat is like having a 2nd muffler on there. My dad just put a nice flowmaster catback system on there for me as a part of a get well gift cuz i ben in the hospital with leukemia for a month and finally got to go home the other day. the system sounds great but it still aint loud enough cuz of that stupid cat. so next weekend when im home again im dropping the cat & puttin a regular pipe to the muffler

@ajjrfan The CAT is dappens the sound more then a muffler does usually depending on the muffler. Also best of luck with your fight against Leukemia!

@drawde141 I think this weekend when i go home from the hospital im droppin the cat cuz the muffler my old man put on there is fuckin tiny! and thanks alot! I just got some good news yesterday, doctor says i got no more leukemia cells in my body, now all the chemo i get is just to keep it from comin back

@drawde141 I know as soon as i drop the cat im gona go thru so much gas cuz im just gona get on it alot more then i do now just to listen to it...well, not right now cuz when i was in the hospital a while back i had a fuckin seizure cuz of the meds i was on and how my blood pressure was, so b4 i got to leave the hospital the nurologist said i cant drive for 6 months...it sucks but now i at least got time to do what i want to the truck and make it badass for when i can drive again

@voldemortwowthecrew I have never once been pulled over for loud exhaust.. had a 95 GMC with 3" dynomax bullet dumped under the bed, no CAT. Also had a 90 F250 with a 351 that had true dual 2.25 straight pipes no CAT or muffler ran all the way back, that bitch was loud. Just dont hammer down around cops and feather the peddle you will be fine.

@kappagreen71 its good to know how to drive like that. granted you should know when and where to do it. and at his house is one of those places. btw all police officers and emt/medics in michigan are required to take courses that teach you how to drive agressivly like that to manovuer through traffic and avoid accidents. yes ice can cause accidents but its the ones the do random 360s 180s and drift that are the ones that usually come out ok.

@drawde141 Man I have a 1992 z71 4x4 6in lift sitting on 35 in tires and true duals. its a ext. cab truck short bed 2 tone red and silver. Hope to get a video of it up soon.
