Oh, this is just grand. I love to hear Johnny sing in another language besides English. And this does show off his upper register singing talent. Johnny Mathis, the singer, the man, the entertainer, is there anyone right now and more wonderful than he is? Us Johnny fans think not. Thanks for this upload.

Thats because that song was a zarzuela, the compositor is Agustin Lara from Mexico and was made in honor a these city of spain

Yes this CD has all the hits that he recorded with Mercury
This is from the OLE LP on the Mercury Lable............out of print! Would love to have this on CD. I dont ever remember seeing Johnny doing this song live.
