  • My understanding about this game without a cockpit view is the result of the game being formated for arcade play. The AI warbirds are too numerouse to combat from cockpit view. You must utilize 3rd person to see a wider view of the surrounding sky and then plan how to attack so many targets.

  • not the best game but i enjoyed it. yea this level gave me a hard time but i like hard levels. the ace still was quite annoying tho

  • @53moreHP 10-4...and THANKS!

  • @zuzulo56 Getting through the flak in Eye of the Storm: bank hard right or left and fly in circles until the flak quits. I do that just before the cut scene.

  • @53moreHP I see by your adroit comments, that you are quite knowledgeable re. "Heroes Over Europe", what? What's the secret (trick) in getting through the flak in this, Eye..Storm, episode? Thanks, Pal!

  • I guess they just do whatever they want with history nowadays right?

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 Wings of Prey is much better and good fun but the best flight sim of them all is Rise of Flight.

I think HoE is actually so difficult and silly in an arcade game style way I just gave up on it.

  • @jarentz

Wings of prey is way better then this and harder.

  • @53moreHP WoP does have an "arcade" difficulty setting where the flying is simplified and there is a 3rd person view, in fact with those settings it's almost like HOE. There is also "custom" difficulty where you can pick and choose the setting, I found that to be the best.

  • @53moreHP (part 2) Yes WoP has a "simulator" mode but in my opinion the structure of the game is still arcade style. The biggest reason is that the missions start in the air and don't involve taking off and landing which any true simulator has to include. WoP is great fun though and I would highly recommend it.
