  • I would surely love to be Tohru =D XD

  • I like both versions, this one with tohru and the original by ritsuko. With tohru it sounds cute and adorable, with ritsuko sounds cute but also sad, it makes your tears come out. The feeling it's even more...deep than with tohru's voice. Well that's my opinion.

  • i love this anime... so much... its so amazing story and full of beautiful lesson.. here...

  • It's so sweet. I really love this version, Horie-san's voice is really pretty~

  • @foreverfriendsg i already knew about Ritsuko passing away ^^ and some where in another youtube comment on another video ^^

  • @Beccapige (cont) And there wouldn't be any more Ritsuko Okazaki songs for the second season since she passed away a few years back (unless she'd recorded for a possible sequel back then or they used her other songs) which would suck since her voice really suits this anime. So yeah, while I'm still upset that there wouldn't be a second season, at least there are cons so I don't feel so bad about it.

P.S. Where did you see/hear about Takaya-sama being mad about the anime?

  • @Beccapige Damn! I was (and still am until I saw this comment) hoping against hope that somehow, someday, there would be a second season of Fruits Basket. Can't say I blame Takaya-sama; I was like ehh when I first saw the anime's graphics. I still don't like it too much but the storyline makes up for it. And the anime cut out a few scenes which I was rather pissed about because I was looking forward to those scenes (can't remember which now). (cont)

  • Agree with @ReverieMetherlence01. It's because of how Yui Horie's voice is naturally high pitched and cute while Ritsuko Okazaki manages to convey the underlying tone of melancholy that is in Fruits Basket with her marvelous voice. That's why I always cry when I listen to Ritsuko Okazaki's rendition of the opening theme song, and it's not just because of the beautiful lyrics either. That being said, this version really brings forth Tohru's kindness and purity only Yui Horie can achieve :)

  • @animeadorable804

That's how the world rolls, unfortunately... I've picked a similar role model for myself, Colette from Tales of Symphonia, but I do realize that I cannot be exactly like her. I'll be happy enough if I can just pull off a quarter of her kindness x'DD It's such a shame, the world would be a much better place if there actually were pure people like her around...

  • This song makes me sad, I think about it when i am at school, I always think to myself."Why can't i be like the other kids...Why have i got tourettes and cannot go outside and play with all the others"

stuff like that :( But i'm always happy talking with teachers cause all the teachers are my friends.

Other than all that ... I love this song :D

  • @pencilpizza Dont know, i never did, but just try to ignore it until' something happens ^^ And hope you had an amazing new years eve^^
