I think that's a different song you're thinking of.
This is black sabbath, after ozzy got replaced with dio.
Ozzy did a cover of "buried alive" by someone, and dio wrote a song called "buried alive", as far as i know.
Correct me if im wrong

Heaven and Hell put Time Machine into their 2009 set. I saw them last week, amazing concert.

I think you got the two songs mixed up. Buried Alive has black metal-ish vocals mixed underneath. But I do agree that Dio should have no problem singing Buried Alive, especially since the vocals are similar to Pain which he's performed live before.
