Exactly, when the TL's were refreshed for 07-08, THEN they had this whole 258 HP bullshit, but it's up to you to believe it or not.

Old style Rating = 270hp....New style Rating = 258 for 2004-2008 3.2l J32a3 motors. It is just a more "accurate way" to read horsepower. 6-speeds put abour 215whp-220whp stock on the dyno which makes 258hp SAE rated more accurate. Same engines for 04-08...Only thing that MAYBE different is the ECU since 07-08 are able to hold 1st gear in manual mode (Auto TL) while 04-06 auto TL it auto shifts.
