Here is a little bit of a look at the x68000 version of final fight. it is arcade perfect as far as graphics go and the game play is very smooth. One to pick up for your collection if you get the chance
Very nice port, I'd have to agree that looks and sounds like a direct transfer of arcade content. Makes me wish more arcade ports on PC had actually been this good instead of being transfers of the watered down console ports at the time EG. MK3 on PC being the PS1 version.
Yeah I've looked at every port of Final Fight but I think I passed over this version when researching since it is so identical to the arcade version lol.
Looks very nice. Since it's a computer game rather than console its done in progressive units so 31hz is amazing smoothness since it's 1 over the ordinary 30hz which on an console game in interlaced units would be 62khz and since consoles couldn't go over 60hz until the PlayStation 2 era that probably makes this probably the smoothest version going unless if the arcade is higher.
@kreeddem i know the ST was crap, i saw Final Fight on it ironicly lol and that was beyond baaaaaaaaaad, but yeah the Amiga was a awesome system, shame i never got to play on one much back in the day through i'll admit, the 90's was just a awesome time for gaming regardless of owning a computer, console or both
