@rrpostalagain impossible...? wind turbines = impossible? seems you are missing something my friend.
what he's showing you here is a work in progress. he's making a VAWT, Vertical-Axis-Wind-Turbine. obviously there are no blades fitted to the shaft yet. he is demonstrating the nice smooth rotation. and no WSPUNIT, permanent does not mean "sumth thats not gona stop". it means he is using permanent magnets instead of electro magnets to create the magnetic field to run his copper windings through.

Maybe check out a physics book before trying to do something that is impossible? Either I'm missing something here, or you missed a day or two at school while fiddling in your garage.
