He really does have a lovely voice, but what key is this song in? Isn't it a pretty low key?

beautiful, warm tone

damn boi I'm doin this in college lol. You did a fantastic job! I watched this like ten times to get the diction in the right placement because I haven't taken french yet.
Bravo!

doing this song for a couple of recitals this week and came across your video - please keep singing!

your diction is mostly right, but you have noticeable errors, just ask a voice teacher about it and you'll be ok. the big thing is facial expression, the whole time you look pissed off lol. the song is sweet and loving, show it in your face otherwise its just notes on a page

Astounding performance. There were a couple of places where the French was slightly off like "DEesse" is [ de ] not [ di ] but other than a couple barely noticable things. Fabulous. I'm a freshman in college and I'm extremely jealous of your sound. Very free for the most part, just think down when you're going up for the Db in "levre en fleur." Keep up the good work and post some more. =)

Very nice tone. And flawless French.
Bravo! This is incredible singing. Is he really only a high school junior? Where is he going to college? I would love to work with him.

@pljcj Yes, he's a junior at San Francicso School of the Arts. He hasn't decided on conservatory/college yet. Since this video he won the local Classical Singer HS Competition and is going on to NYC for the finals in May. He's done a lot of work in the SF Opera, Berkeley Opera, Pocket Opera, and Lamplighters. He's intent on singing Opera for a career. Are you in the Bay Area?
