First off I'd like to say thanks for watching, and I would also like to say that I did this all by myself at age 19... Enjoy... 1992 25th Anniversary Z28 Camaro Body Restoration.... Did it myself with no real body work training for under $1,000. I am very pleased with the product. Painted in an open shop without a paint booth.

  • how do u remove the rear bumper frm the rear quarter pannels? i have all the plastic tabs removed but its attached to the quarters and idk how to remove it

  • @2p1s3i If I remember right you remove the plastic panels inside the back of the car and there are 4 bolts that come through from the rear on each side. They are on a special strip so don't worry about finding the bolts on the other side of the bumper, just remove the nuts and the bumper should come off.

  • Can you work on mine i need front bumper and some cracks done

  • Good luck. Intact junkyard camaro = unicorn. Wish thirdgens came with a performance motor and trans paired up. The 350 coming with the 700r4 was fucking stupid. (Thats the auto trans, for the retards)

  • ideally i'd like to just find a wrecked 98-02 with the LS1 and the T56 that way i'd have all the wiring and the computer too and i wouldn't have to look for all the little stuff

  • haha yeah an LS9 would be great but like you said that requires wads of cash lol... but for now im going to rebuild the factory 305 and put a set of heads on it and maybe a few minor mods and put a short throw shifter in since its a 5 speed... wat i would like to do is take an LS1 and bore it out .030 and put a stroker crank in it and of course CNC machined heads and what not with a T56 backing it and 3.42 gears (6 Speed for the retards lol)

  • Excellent job man. I have a 92 RS with a few touch ups myself. Say, what is your motor plans? I'm kinda torn between a ZZ383 and a LS1. Wish I had wads so I can put a LS9 in her lmao. (Thats the motor the 2010 ZR1 Vette has, for the retards.)

  • Just a Helpful hint i had a friend holding the ground effects while i was drilling and it seemed to help a lot. Any other Questions let me know.

  • didn't replace any of the body pieces on the car since it was a low budget project. I fixed the front with some light sheet metal behind it on the totally broken corner. I drilled holes in it on each side of the break and then i counter sunk them. I put pop-rivets in from the front into the metal on the back to hold it and then ground the tops down to make it so i could hide them with body filler. I sanded the filler down smooth and then filled in any other low spots.

  • you did a amazing job on your car i do have a question for you did u have to replace the lower ground effects on the front and if not how hard was it to fix i have the same car you got even the same color but my fx are all battered and missing paint
