This is an LH1300 in operation in Potash.

This machine has been very successful in its application, and the operators and owner are very pleased with the performance. NDCO has sold several of these machines into Potash mines.

  • unverbraucht11 - Yes, you are correct the machine is being used for development and job work. Roadheaders are effective for production jobs in specific applications, however it is tough to compete with a Marietta in Potash.

We are using heavy roadheaders for production work in 80-100+MPa right now and very effectively - I would like to see your Marietta function in that :-)

  • i could scale better than that p.o.s ;)

  • As far as i know, this ind of machine just isn't cost- effective enough to use as production. The mine I'm at uses mariettas, both 2 and 4 rotor machines as the brunt and only use this machine to trim rooms and clean up. There are probably some applications where production would have this in place, but not as far as i know

  • Any video of it really cutting not just trimming rib. I think my mine would tear that little thing apart. I do like the way you can adjust to just about any angle.
