An old pager or mobile phone is a good place to look, try also a cheap electric toothbrush or one of those vibrating razors.

i like the stabilizer legs that make it look like an insect

The brush kept falling over without them, or I could have used a bigger brush. It turned out to be a good look for the finished bot, I agree.

Search ebay for "pager motor", there's plenty to choose from.

if the motor is powerful enough you can cut off the bristles, and make a vibrobot.

They just use a vibrator from a cell phone, or pager.
