This is a digital version of Little Labs In Between Phase, or IBP. This plug-ins is a great tool for correcting phase problems in DAW's without resorting to moving tracks around. For a high resolution version of this video, please visit the Plug-In Power article in the December UA Webzine at http://www.uaudio.com/blog/little-ibp-that-could/

  • Awesome tool! One minor note to the video makers. I have seen this in a couple of vids of UA. The voiceover keeps talking when doing adjusting. If you say listen to this adjustment. Please DO NOT speak over it when doing so! :)

    Still gonna buy this though..

  • looks like a good plugin 2 have around

  • You still need to apply delay compensation don't you? I'm asking. I don't use Steinberg anymore. ....lately.

  • My latency is low as well... system+ 1-2 uad plugins (not parallel, but stacked) equals about 4-5ms (system is set to 1.5ms). I'm using Nuendo. But I like to keep latency as close to zero while tracking, and this is the kind of tool I would want to record into (Nuendo has the option to place plugins pre-to-disk while recording, like recording into a compressor or EQ). That's why this is the kind of tool I'd want native... I'd only want to record into it.

  • freedom0f5peech: I get minimal latency using a UAD-1 with ProTools. It's hardly noticeable. For some reason, with Samplitude the latency is much more pronounced. Probably 125 ms. As opposed to maybe 10ms in PT. I don't know why.

  • Too true if only a flip of the switch would fix all. Unfortunately it can take time adjusting mic position. Especially if you are by yourself. This plugin just saves a lot of time. And hey, it's way cheaper than the hardware. $630 for the box. Plugin is only $99? Dirt cheap!

  • I wish this twat won't speak over the top of the demonstrations.

  • Most probably 2 mono channels

  • suk ur mums uad

  • When using this were the mics used on a stereo channel together or as two mono channels?

  • Redsecta72: Calling names is half of your talent I guess! You are pre judging without knowing.. You don't know me! you work for UA that you are butt kissing? you are a moderator here deleting posts??

I use UA and I'm not doing what you just did..LAME

AudioGeekzine: Nice try!! But like I said in the last post to you (which was deleted) hmmm! I know my gear and do this for a living.. I don't need this plug in! I'm also a fan of UAD cards....
