my good friend how are you? I had to come back and say to you that your this video has been a great hit with my students when I teach about the Napoelonic Era. I have seen some students actually research their favorite marshals and learning on the their own. They have even taken a few class times to discuss the strategy and tactics about these marshals. thought i would share that with you. take care friend

Why did you forget the word "Fraternité" with "Liberté" and "Egalité" ? This is the french motto...

@black10872 Bernardotte was LEAVING the field of Wagram intentionally, he's a dirty traitor to Napoleon
-
Marshal Bernadotte wanted revenge against napolean because napolean blamed bernadotte for a failed tactical manuver at the battle of wagram. napolean forced him to leave the army and out of france.

@TheJEANFB yes sending the cavarly with infantry and artillery support would have forced the british line into falling back. the square formation would be very suicidal to maintain with incoming artillery.

@black10872 Ney was very brave but not a very good strategy. A Waterloo during his cavalry charges, he forgot to follow the infantry
hello my friend, beautifully done, bravo i say! thank you for sharing. i recall watching a documentary with my grandfather and David Chandler, a prominant Napoleon scholar, said at the end, "i may have a Ph.D in history and be a scholar of Napoleon, but what he these men did would take 10 life times to study thoroughly." What they did militarily and their impact in world can not be denied. love them or hate them, they have made they mark in world history. i honour these personally. thank you.

@hanno21664 Thank you! I think I may have watched the same films you watched with your grandfather. They were on the campaigns of Napoleon, specifically Austelitz, Russia, and Waterloo.
