Robert Nadeau studied with O Sensei. His creative translation has carried aiki principles into many realms. He received a scroll from O Sensei exhorting him to:
"Do the aikido that cannot be seen with the human eye."

  • Robert Nadeau 7th Dan, Shihan has been a teacher of Aikido for over 35 years. He studied directly with the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, at Hombu Dojo (Headquarters School) in Tokyo.

    He is chief instructor city aikido and aikido of mountain view

    It's very sad when people see Nadeau and think that's what aikido is. There is so much bad aikido out there, a lot due to people like Nadeau.

  • elmirador666 con todo respeto no creo que entiendes la manera que el nadeau sensei ensena , debido a su relacion y entendimiento con el osensei ueshiba el enfoca mas a lo que es consiencia de energia , si estaras ahi en ese dojo (como yo si ha estado) creo que sentirias el hecho de si esta desequilibrando el uke y no se estan entregando asi no mas , hay mucho mas pasando aqui que no se nota , no se estan lanzando solos , si estas mas interesado en tecnica, quedate en ese plano no mas : )

  • El uke le entrega la mano en posición para que le apliquen el sankyo, mucha charla, mucha armony ..... deberian de enseñarles más técnica y dejar las palabras. Ahora en la ejecución de las técnicas se aprecia una completa cooperación del uke, se lanza sólo, el instructor no lo ha desequilibrado.
