The earthquake hit at 4:35am, September 4th 2010. This was taken on the 5th on our way to grab some lunch.

There've been conflicting reports about how large the quake actually was, it's been placed around the 7.1 - 7.4 mark on the richter scale, the largest in New Zealand in over 100 years.

  • @XxLickACatxX It's on Avonside Drive along the river, the corner of Bowie Place and Avonside Drive is about the midway point of that crack.
