Those f*in taxi cab drivers!! I hate those f*er's!! They don't know how to drive, prolly drunk all the time, they never pull to the right, and sometime they'll just stop dead in their lane as you come up behind them code 3!

Because if you turn the siren off, people will think you've stopped responding and therefore not try to get out of your way. I have a very sound theory when it comes to sirens and traffic: Be as annoying as possible, and they'll want to move out of your way as fast as possible....

All it takes is one clown who will not take the trouble to move his car a little to clear a path for you - then you sit there and wait.

Ambulances have push-bars on the front for a reason! USE THEM AND RAM EVERYONE OUTTA THE WAY!!!!

@emmfc yea i live in yonkers but trafffic up there is hell but i love nyc and bloomberg is a good mayor its just he works his way so tourists can be happy new yorkers need to be happy too! 9th ave has the worst traffic manily because of bike lane and lincoln tunnel but why the hell is there bikes lanes on the west side because we have one of the most gretest subway sytem system in the world!!! plus what do you think of the muslim mosques at ground zero?

@bobzzz23 Yes. I agree. This avenue leads to the Lincoln Tunnel, technically the starting point of the old cross country Lincoln Highway. But mostly to Jersey. That's why it clogs up all the time.

@bobzzz23 Yes indeed. It is like that a lot. Maybe Madison should be the two way bike lane instead of Bloomberg building them all over the West Side and clogging traffic. The man HATES New Yorkers. Everything is for the out of towners. They should have a good time, but they do not live here, we do...

Would be nice if emergency vehicles had their own lane to drive in.
But if they made those ignorant drivers would probably drive in them
