From the 1962 Walt Disney cartoon "A Symposium On Popular Songs"
Writen by Robert and Richard Sherman.
"The love ballad, boo boo boo boo boo!" with the original video.

I'm blue for you, boo boo boo boo boo
What can I do? Boo boo boo boo boo boo boo
You found someone new, you said we were through
And that's why I'm blue for you

Right from the start, you played a part
I wasn't smart, you broke my heart
You upset my apple cart...
... now we're far apart, sweetheart

When you said "Adieu", you left without a clue
And that's why I'm blue for you

  • Did this have an intro on the casette tape?? I remember a stage and girls screaming...

  • @SeriesAreMyFavDrug All I know is in the original cartoon, "A Symposium On Popular Songs", Ludwig Von Drake gives a brief explanation on how he invented the microphone and the crooner.

  • I remember this song from Disney's sing along songs "Fun with music". It was a very good song. ^^

  • I always thought it was funny when he would whistle, his mouth looks like a donut.

  • @SeriesAreMyFavDrug I remember the screaming girls but that may have been added for the Sing Along version.

  • Goodness gracious Skip, eat a burger!
