  • The built-in memory is not 2 gigs as stated in the video here. In fact, the built-in memory is 236 MB. There is no documentation which describes built-in memory. It is a detail which is left to be discovered when the device is in hand.

  • @PapaEJangles Yes it is... If I have a SD card removed, and just the internal memory, when I view capacity space in settings, as well as plugging it into my computer, it displays as a 2GB drive. The SD card is expandable to 16GB. I think you're talking about the RAM which is 256 MB.

  • you started sounding country around the 2:25 or it may just be when you say 'Device', anyway thanks

  • @Lazykyosuke I'm about as city boy as one can be. Haha.

  • OMG THIS SUCKS.... Look at the screen... why does it flash like that??

  • @paroutdiok Because it's an e-ink display... Google it. OMG YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A BOOK READER IS...

  • @registrationsucks I talk like myself. I have done videos like this for two years. I don't even know who Dan Ackerman is. And it was a so-so review because it wasn't a review. It was a hands on, initial impressions unboxing video. Read the title.

  • I would love this but oh well...needa save up on stuff :)

  • I Getting it For Xmas

  • i want one but we do not have these in canada

  • Hello! i'm interested in this device! Please tell me does it supports Cyrillic script letters and formats .txt .doc .rtf ??? (on web-site are written only epub pdf) ?

  • i just ordered mine yesterday!! <3

  • Oh yeah and almost forgot... As for being able to add any book on the Nook? You can do the samething with the Kindle LOL Just use a simple program called Callibre and it takes 1 minute to convert any book whatever format it's in say Epub, TXT, PDF, you name it, and it can be converted to Mobi for the Kindle...

  • Ok here's the thing guys... If you want to listen to a audio book you can't because of the no headphone jack... At least the original Nook had that. And the Price? 139.99? and it's only Wi Fi? You can get a Kindle 3 3G with special offers for that price LOL and the Wi Fi version for 114.99... Sorry guys but this Nook looks like a downgrade compared to the original Nook and Nook Color. They have more features. Oh and the touchscreen doesn't look that resonsive either
