What a wonderful performance; I had not heard of this band before today but will be looking for recordings, if they are available here in Canada. I have been a professional brass player for many years and am thankful for bands like this and Black Dyke who carry on the tradition.

Grimethorpe are right up there with Black Dyke as probably the two best brass bands in the country, probably the world (in my view).
Their recordings are many and available worldwide. You should have no problem in Canada. Happy listening Friend.

LOVELY JUBBLY... My hubby is a Euph and Bass Trom player... Depending on which band he is playing with at the time... this is Stunning.....

I'm a guitarist, I know sod all about brass instrument playing...
but I do know and appreciate good playing when I hear it! This is not good ! It's bloody sensational. It's as good an interpretation of the Pavane as any I have heard...
You guys are to be congratulated, and to whoever is responsible for the interpretation / arrangement. Top banana.
