Heil Rapid Rail 2638 Flipping Lids!! Part 1 (Tuesday Route)

So this brought back SOO many memories of when I was younger. Lid flipping here was a very common thing to be seen. Now the newer trucks dont have as touchy a rev so they dont flick lids easily. This truck (2638) is one of the older trucks that will be gotten rid of very soon so to see it flipping lids like when I was young and it was new, is an awesome thing for me. A huge thanks goes out to the awesome driver. He is my usual greenwaste driver but the older truck makes flipping lids too easy lol I filmed as much as I could on this day and I also went out and found him on the Wednesday route the following day and he was still flipping lids in his spare! It never gets old for me!

Whoa nice!! I liked the beginning, it's like "oh, he really DOES flip every single lid" haha New grippers with the yellow things now? Don't you hate it when you're trying to get a good opening shot like 1:55 but he doesn't flip the ones right in front of you?? haha looks like every bin just had 100% grass in it. Nice work

@Trashman242 Lol yea grass is a large part of green waste here. The yellow grippers are just sticky reflective tape for the safety concious company on the old grippers.

lol dont know how i missed the tuesday route. A hats off to you for making such an awesome video! Heres my new fav disposal services truck. Really like the sound of it. Its going to be sad to see this truck go, but i bet it would last longer than the LNG ones!
