Well one New Years resolution of mine was getting my layout back up and running, which I did just a day after New Years. All track is redone and wired in, I am still working on switch machines and then into the signaling system which I hope to get complete this time. The track plan is mostly double track with a section of single track, in hopes to bring back the Fast Lane operations again. A diagram of the track will be up in another video. I also need to put together some pictures of the trackwork. Enjoy!

  • Layout is looking good man, You sure have quite a collection of new stock and power! They layout will look really good once those signals start lighting up!

  • @Conrailed Thanks Jon, the collection sure has grown in the last year or so, thanks to full time and a Christmas bonus. I plan to get them signals lit up soon.

  • hey, my coal train looks pretty good. I'll be over this weekend if you're around.

  • @Tcaauwe2002 I will be here, just get ahold of me, that last block of track is now wired too, so now that just leaves that yard to be built.

  • Lovin' the old power. (Chessie & Seaboard) Awesome layout!!

  • @DouglasP201 Thanks, I tend to model everything and not one particular era, that way I can run what I want, plus I don't just like one particular railroad either so it would be hard for me to model just one, LOL.

  • it sure looks cool

  • @railroading29 Thanks, it used to be just the bridge sections themselves mounted onto wood and that lifted up, like a big bescule bridge, but I wanted to use my deck trusses this time so I made the whole section open up, it is a bit heavier but not to bad to operate.

  • nice layout man.....i like how you built your bridge/ lift up section.....clever ideal
