Hero ROM

Sorry for the blurry video but I had to convert it to wmv. This is my HTC Magic running a Hero ROM. I found this ROM online and have been testing it out with no problems. I used 1 click rooting to great effect... I have a 192mb Magic with lots of apps and the phone runs great! Feel free to ask questions and I will answer if I have the answer.. thanks! Also this Hero ROM is for the 32b motherboard (Vodafone HTC Magic).

Update as of December 13, 2009: I have since switched to Qteknology Official Magic Sense Porting for Vodafone 32B (3.03.990.6) with working LED's, but NO Bluetooth yet. Works as good as the MdHero with additional wallpapers and apps.

@uni4ever Actually I received an HTC Desire HD last week. I rooted it today with Android Revolution HD 3.0 (2.2). I'm going to post a review of it tomorrow... loving that 2nd generation Snapdragon processor. You're not really using and EVO still are you?

is the there a newer rom that has everything working on the mytouch? at the moment im using cyanmod which is 2.2

@obrebel0 I was using GammaFly v1 up until yesterday and other various Cynaogen spinoffs but dropped back down to an Eclair ROM for a little more speed and less freezing issues.

@snake1250 Yes, there has been a bluetooth fix for ages but that Hero Rom was 1.5 (Cupcake). Android is now up to 2.2 with 3.0 supposedly coming out before Christmas. If you are still hooked on a Hero ROM you can download a 2.1 Eclair one.. same good stuff but just updated :)
