Kobe Bryant 26 points 6 assists vs Mavs 2006-07 *Kobe Guards Dirk

This is one of Kobe Bryant's more lesser games of the 2006-07 season. After the game, he stated that his legs felt heavy and it was apparent in the game. He was missing normal shots, didn't get the elevation, and even looked tired at some points. But even then, he was able to explode in the 4th quarter, chip in other aspects of the game, and play a little D. In the 4th quarter, he hit 4 out of 5 jumpshots at one point(would've been 5 consecutive jumpshots had it not been for a very bad break on a 3 point shot).

Later on in that quarter, he would go on to play some respectable defense on 7 foot Dirk Nowitzki, a feat that not many 6'5 shooting guards in NBA history would dare try, let alone be able to do. He then made crucial assists, drives, and layups to give LA a 100-98 lead, who were down 9 after 3 against the 65 win team who won 12 straight. The Lakers went on to win 101-98.
