A note about the very last picture.
I've been getting a fair amount of positive feedback for the last video, including one video made by kiddelarge.

In the end of her video, she asks other cosplayers out there to make a sign saying "Non-Racist cosplayer".
The last picture is of an old cosplay of mine as Temari from Naruto. I didn't add this to the video because I think I'm amazing, or anything like that, but to give an example. I plan on wearing or holding a small sign saying the same thing at the next convention I cosplay to. I urge you all to do the same.
Spread the message that all cosplayers are born equal. Race doesn't matter. Age doesn't matter. Gender and size don't matter. Even your species doesn't matter, as odd as that sounds.
Cosplay is for fun. Looking like the character is an added bonus, but don't let that stop you from going all out and enjoying yourself.

I'm Asian. I've been attacked for cosplaying because I LIVE in America. I was born in China but just for living here I was told I'm a disgusting fat American. No matter what race or ethnicity you are, you should always be able to do what you love. right? If that love is cosplay then so be it.

This is great. I prefer multi-race cosplay anyway, because there are so many different body shapes and facial forms with different races, which makes it liable for each character to be cosplayed accurately ^^

Conventions are for fun. Not judging who looks the best. Anyone can cosplay. Anyone who says different is ignorant and probably jealous. So what if not everyone can make or pull off the cosplay? They are having fun and to me thats all that matters. I'm american and i make my own cosplays. I hate these stupid racial lies saying only asians can cosplay. Everyone can cosplay!! Get over yourselves and just have fun! Conventions are suppose to be the one place where no one is going to judge you for
