IMO the best version of this beautiful, Paul Stookey song. Appropriately performed by one of the best examples of a successful celebrity marriage since Steve & Eydie.

  • I was expecting something great since Toni has a nice voice, but this is done too fast and overly produced. Paul did it just right.

  • @infinera06 I agree it is a bit too fast, but happen to like the production. I'm a sucker for schmaltz.

  • a dear friend of mine, her daughter is getting married today, ithought how lOvely it would be to share this at my bebo with her, i am saddened that icant do that due to a restriction on it, why put it here, why, if you cant share a beautiful thing and make someone happy :(

  • @islandCouture The political left in the world is preoccupied with material wealth, despite their claims to the contrary. They claim that their "art" is their form of expression, but in reality what they want is money because most of them know they're idiots & could never support themselves any other way. So they invented this scam that co-opts the governments into granting them monopoly rights over sequences of air vibrations. You therefore have no right to hear those vibrations.

  • @MrTrashcan1 You could also just buy the CD. You can attend concerts. You can learn the song yourself and sing it to your close friends (since apparently making music is so easy that an 'idiot' could do it). You have options. I regret that the internet, and youtube in particular, has instilled in us the idea that we are entitled to get something-for-nothing, at all times, and with no commercial breaks. But sadly, the world has never been that way.

  • @mangarda How long should someone continue to receive royalties for one piece of work? 10 years? 100 Years? 1000 years? When the rest of us produce a product or perform a service we receive one, single payment. Plus, all of the music I have posted is yard sale music, 30-40 years old. Most of these artists are hasbeens that either have no current compilation CDs or that no one today (other than boomers) have heard of. I don't think our reminiscing over childhood music hurts them.

  • Toni Tennille's voice is achingly beautiful in this perfect version of the Noel Paul Stookey classic.

  • My dear husband and I married to this lovely song. Four years later, cancer took him on our 4th anniversary. My heart is still broken, but the song is still one of the best. :)
