  • Man! I never realized what a large CLEAN aircraft it is. Look at frontal area @1.49 in video. All flaps and spoilers are in the center section! I agree, it must be mostly carbon fiber and super stiff. Imagine the torsional bending moment on the tail booms in turbulence. The Rutans are our modern living aviation Da Vinchis

  • Wow! It looks like it wouldn't even get off the ground, let alone up to the edge of space, yet it does! I hope trips on it become affordable in my lifetime, thanks for posting!:)

  • My dad actually works at an airport and the whitenight (1) and spaceshipone landed there and I got to see it in person in a hangar!! I was also at Eaa when this landed and when the A380 landed.
