  • I agree!!! Nothing like it!!! His other films "Face of Another" and "Pitfall" are also among the best films I have ever seen. Teshigahara earned his place among the best - Tarkovsky, Bresson, Antonioni, Bergman, Paradjanov, Fassbinder, Welles, Altman, Cassavettes, Lynch, Herzog, Dreyer, Murnau, Eisenstein, Kieslowski, Cronenberg, Felini, Viscontini, De Sica, Resnais, Rohmer, Kurosawa, Mizoguchi, Ozu...

  • This was one intricate movie. It had a depressing mood, but a lot of meaning. By the end, it really kept me thinking you know?
