http://YouTube.com/SXSWLawnParty Lia Ices and her band gave a charmed magic hour performance of songs from her new album, Grown Unknown.
With the late afternoon light glowing through the trees at the French Legation Museum, Lia Ices and her band performed a set that was as enchanted as the fading daylight. Ices, a Connecticut kid who now lives in Brooklyn, recently released the moody and moving Grown Unknown album on the Jagjaguwar label, and in this clip they deliver a haunted version of "Love Is Won," the opening track from the record.
@lupelupelupe just type Love Is Won - Lia Ices.

As this is the only live rendition of Lia and her golden jam I demand that you take it down. What made you think you could swap in an interview in the single most emotion provoking part of music in the last year. My name is easy to please, don't make it Easy to hunt you down for shitting on my favorite jam.

@peaco1000 you know, I feel you on your comment.... I'm not comparing to this music, but back in the day I was a Phish fan, and also a Panic fan before they were playing big big venues, and when they started doing that, it became commoditized (SP?), and lots of bummers related to that happened. Careful :)

Amazing. When you think about the Rhianna, Lady Gaga, Katie Perry mass perpetual sound thats everywhere and you hear this, its a crime that this is not more widely heard.
