United Mountain Defense volunteer Matt Landon Jones re-visited numerous water monitoring sites along Davis Creek in Campbell County, TN on 6-29-2011. He used quality control / quality assurance measures before, during, and after the monitoring to make sure that the readings on the YSI digital water monitor were as accurate as possible. These measures included calibrating the equipment for both conductivity and pH before going out into the field on this day and washing the probes off with distilled water after each sample and video taping the data collection along with GPS coordinates for each monitoring site. www.unitedmountaindefense.org
