this beautiful voice is called DAVID SYLVIAN, the best artist in the world!!!!
-
could listen to his voice until the cows come home.Lets hope they all forget where they live. I feel sad they people wont listen to his music because it sounds depressing. If you can tune your mind past the initial sound and show a little patience there is a complete gold mine waiting for you.

@frazerrothko God bless you frazerrothko. ( should be "too" not "to". Sorry for being pedantic, I can't help it!)

not really aged that well, maybe he should try more makeup, got to be an improvement. think I saw him on the London Underground back in November, so I approached him, but it wasn't David Sylvian, it was a look-a-like, but this complete stranger was very pleasant and polite and said that David probably wouldn't be riding the tube, not at that time of day (it was early in the morning)

This song did not depress me, its a rose that talks about some of life's thorns. The songs petals slowly open and reveals both the beauty and pain of life. I loved it. He describes the common so beautifully, he brings dignity to it, so its doesn't depress me, it just reveals the beauty and peace even in the mundane, in spite of the duress. Dang these guys are smart ! what insight !

Very nicely put......

The song is from his brother Steve Jansens album Slope. The credits on the album for this track say...Sylvian Jansen..so i would think it was co written by them both but i am not 100% sure

@frazerrothko are you sure, someone told me that it was the other way round, Steve singing on David's album! But the vocal sounds like David Sylvian, but Steve was able to do a good impression of his brother, as i saw Steve Jansen in concert in this working men's club in Warrington back in the summer. Probably one of the best gigs I've been to, very up close and personal. Mick was on bass
