How to change a folder icon in windows 7 when missing the customize button

if you have windows 7 and your trying to change a freaking ICON in your folder and are banging your head against a wall. LET ME HELP YOU OUT.

AHHH ! i spent way to much time, trying to change my folder icon in windows 7 but was MISSING THE CUSTOMIZE button. Finally I figured it out, you need to go through C: drive, User, yada yada yada... if you go to picture, or documents, or whatever, it won't work.

missing the customize folder, don't know why they did that.

HAVE PHOTOSHOP: want to create icons?

For faster and easier way, my friends recommend folderchanger.. it works great on my pc...

google "folderchanger" to download.

What are you talking about? I'm running windows 7 and if I right click on the folder then go to properties there is a customize button there and you can change the icon.
