Extremley Easy Early Snowhead

I discovered this quite some time ago, but Petrie was the first to bring this up so I thought I might as well show just how easy this trick is by doing it multiple times and to show that there is a significant margin of error. The key to it is to Hold L+R and then backwalk and rapidly press A until you eventually get through. If you want to perform it quickly then its best to land as high as possible on your backflip otherwise you'll have to go though a slightly longer infinite damage phase.

you hover, because to hover all you need is something to hit your shield in this the ice.

It was recorded on the Gc version. No emu involved.
