with RS it is true. the style is very much 70's and not as unique as, say "one hour..." or "BE". anyway I think on both RS cd's we find some of the best PoS songs ever. and at this point I like the simple and honest approach of music, so I am happy. have you seen them live lately? the new songs are totally killer in a live show! and I will see them again next week! :)

  • @deusnovae

well yeah. I felt like they lacked the originality their previous albums had. I also moved away from prog metal actually.

  • @anaglyfos

hm, you mean scarsick sounds like the road salt concept? I don't see this, really. RS 1 & 2 are quite similar, but they kinda had to be I guess.

or maybe I just moved away from listening to 'prog metal' kind of stuff.

  • @deusnovae Totally agree.

But I felt like they got very repetitive in their following albums. :(

  • @anaglyfos

    because repeating is boring! ;)

  • Oh my god! This is really something else. They were on a very very original path with this performance.

I really wonder why they did follow such a different path after this album?

  • best concert ever!

  • One does not simply watch a couple of songs from this masterpiece. I have to go to college within some hours 'cause I started watching pretty late. Sleepy....

  • @191robbo yes it does matter mate as my friend is very hard of hearing and all I needed to do is to explain of what genre ok...So please think before sending an obnoxious post at me..
