4/21/10 Sister Tanisha's heart was pricked by the Word Preached by Evangelist Lorraiine Langham during the 2010 Strategic End-Time Prayer & Intercessors Conference. She was baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ & Filled with the Holy Ghost before she even was water baptized.

@ apostolic660 the reason i asked is that i was worried that its too late fore me, i have faith and asked for it but i have not got it yet, most likey i will get it after water baptism

@1986Lonelyguy it's not too late you can receive before all you need if for your faith to be up to par. Build your faith and know it is a gift for you. God promised it! Repent John 7:38-39 Know.. it is the will of God for you to receive the Spirit according to the Scriptures! Galatians 3:2,11:14 Believe ... you will receive the promise. You cannot earn it by doing good works!

is it true its in gods timing when he fills you with the holy ghost after baptism.

a holy spirit filled minister told me that it took her a year after she resived jesus and baptised in his name to have the filling of the holy spirit and speaking in tongues, a whole year, she said its becuase its in gods timing is this really true or do you resive the holy spirit and speaking in tongues the very second you are baptized in the name of jesus christ

@1986Lonelyguy it's all depandant upon one's faith. If you have the faith to receive you can receive b4 you are even water baptized as I did. I hope to further help you with questions you have concerning the New Birth aka Beinig Born again of the Water & The Spirit.
