he sacrificed his-self a the end because he was only staying in ground zero to find a cure - his family had already died - he didn't really want to continue living anyways - which is why he was about to kill himself before the woman and kid survivor rescued him - and it was destiny or "God's plan" that he met her because she reminded him to listen to his heart -

I did not like this movie at all, especially killing his dog. I was shocked Will even wasted his time with this one and of course they gotta kill not only our black men but even our black heros gotta die in a movie.

LOL...The movie was okay. I didn't like the ending. It's like they ran out of money or something at then end and said just throw the grenade in. We're done!

Man...I agree on some terms. I thought the movie was horrible though. See I didn't even see the deer. I think I missed it.
I thought Will Smith should have saved himself..lol
