i just rinsed the color out and my hair didnt change from black to brown..it just stayed black...would you happen to know why?

@NtrlBlackLezboBeauty hey there! Semi permanent colors last only about 8-10 weeks (depending on how often you wash your hair) and technically they are not designed to "lighten" hair, only to place a deposit on the hair. If you want to lighten black hair (especially natural hair), you will have to use a color with high levels of peroxide or a 'booster' to lighten it. In my case, the color was VERY subtle only because i had some places of hair that had already been lightened from previous color.

Oh my goodness I wish I were still in my 20s LOL. I am 33...so the greys are starting to "creep up" one by one. Plucking doesn't work for me. I will probably end up either doing a really dark rinse, or some form of permanent color to 'blend'...
